Job Requirements: 

 

The Custodian is required to work a part-time, short term schedule as directed by the Maintenance Director. Custodian must be able to lift 50 lbs. or less. Must have a vehicle and a current driver’s license.

 

Reports to: Maintenance Director

 

Job Requirements:

1. Secure and lock facilities according to schedule.
2. Clean as directed by the Maintenance Director.
3. Remove light snow fall from the walkways and stairs and apply ice melt as neede
4. Clean and sanitize all restrooms and replenish supplies as directed by the Maintenance Director.
5. Respond to student or staff events that require clean up and sanitation as needed.
6. Check and replace fluorescent and exit light bulbs as needed.
7. Dry mop corridors and classrooms daily as needed.
8. Vacuum or shampoo carpeted surfaces daily, or as directed by the Maintenance Director.
9. Strip and re-wax floors as directed by the Maintenance Director.
10. Cover for absent members of the custodial team when directed by the Maintenance Director.
11. Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Maintenance Director.
